Friday, April 10: Good Friday

7:00pm GCBC Good Friday Zoom Meeting*

Link to join.   Meeting ID: 328 418 427   Password: 054605

This will be a quick time where we will simply read a few passages from Isaiah and the Passion Narrative, and I will ask all who would like to pray to do so. It won’t be anything very formal; but since we are not able to meet, it might be nice just to read through some scripture passages together and pray for a little while on Good Friday. No one need to feel obligated; it’s just a little extra time for reflection for whoever would like to join us.  (We will visit a little at the beginning but then share Scripture together and close.)

Sunday, April 12: Easter

   No in-church services.

Wednesday, April 15:

Sunday, April 19:

   7:00pm GCBC Sunday Zoom Meeting*

*Meetings use a free program called Zoom for video conferencing.  It has to be downloaded on your computer, touch pad or phone. The device needs a working camera and the bigger the device the easier to see each other. Go to to download the program for your device. It takes a few minutes to download, setup and get a feel for, so don’t wait till it’s time to meet. Invitation information for these meetings is listed with the meeting.

We Want To Connect With You!

Announcements of services, events and church information are on this website. Our Facebook page is The Facebook " f " icon at the bottom right of each page takes you there. Facebook requires you have an account to view our page.

Becoming a Church Member

If you are interested in becoming a member of our church family, contact the church office by phone at 502 361-2911 or by email. You may also let pastor Donnie know during the closing song at the Sunday Service. At your earliest convenience, pastor Donnie will make an appointment to discuss the process with you.

Adding Someone to our Prayer Request List

If you wish to add someone to the prayer list, please call the church at 502 361-2911 during regular office hours or use the Receive Our Mailings form on our Home page. Please let the church office know if someone can be removed from the prayer list. The list is published monthly with the church bulletin.

How to Receive Prayer Requests

Prayer requests are sent out by email. To be added to receive these requests, please use the Receive Our Mailings form on our Home page.

Receiving our Church Newsletter by Email

Our newsletter is published monthly. If you are a member of GCBC and wish to receive the newsletter by email, please use the Receive Our Mailings form on our Home page. The Community Connections Edition shows worship times instead of members' birthdays.

Providing Your Email Address to Us

The most efficient way to notify members is by email. If the church office doesn't have your email address, please send it to us using the Receive Our Mailings form on the Home page. If you don't have email, we will always make our best effort to notify you of important updates by phone.

Weather Cancellation Policy

If it becomes necessary, service cancellation notices will be on channel 32, WLKY-TV, the church voice mail (call 361-2911 and listen to the recorded message), the church Facebook page and here on the church website.

It's sometimes difficult to determine when services should be cancelled. Clearing snow and ice from the parking lot can be challenging due to refreezing and dangerous spots may exist, even after snow removal and treatment. Although the roads may be clear, the parking lot may still not be ideal. If a decision to have church is made when the parking lot is not totally clear, that information will be on voice mail so that you can make an informed decision about attending services.
